Tommy MastersHaving competed on the Canadian Tour and Nike Tour and played in numerous PGA Tour events through the years, Tommy developed a wealth of knowledge and experience that would serve him well in the chapters of his story that would follow.

He gained a well-deserved reputation as a gifted instructor, known for his swing and game analysis. Tommy’s clients have ranged from Nick Watney and Derek Ernst on the PGA Tour to former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer to countless Division I college players, all of whom have benefitted from his uncanny ability to tweak – or fully rebuild – swing mechanics. As a result, Golf Magazine named Tommy a Top Instructor by region in 2005 and 2007, and nominated him among the Top 100 instructors in the nation. A credible teacher with a proven record of success, Tommy has been regularly published in Golf Illustrated and has hosted golf segments for ESPN and Fox Sports.

For over 25 years Tommy’s golf odyssey has seen some spectacular highlights, including a turn as golf instructor at the Pebble Beach Golf Academy as well as the Belleview Biltmore Hotel & Golf Resort. He served as Assistant Golf Professional at such prestigious courses as Duck Woods Country Club (NC), Albany Country Club (NY) and Boundary Oak Country Club (CA). And, of course, you might remember Tommy from his celebrated 19-year stint as Director of Instruction here at San Joaquin Country Club before assuming his current role as Director of Golf Operations.

Nick Musolino, Head Golf Professional

Nick grew up in the beautiful Sonoma county area where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Sonoma State University.  After college, he lived in Los Angeles for eight years, during which he studied acting, worked on many reality shows, and discovered his love of body surfing.

He moved to the Monterey peninsula to be closer to family, and there is where his golfing career began.  He was fortunate to learn about golf operations at Spyglass Hill Golf Course with a great team that assisted in his growth, development, and progress through the PGA Management Program.  During his tenure at Spyglass, he was mentored by one of the best golf instructors in the country, the Director of Golf at the Pebble Beach Academy, Mr. Laird Small.  His time at the academy with Laird is where his passion for teaching golf to all ages was born and cultivated.

When Nick and his wife, Sarah are not traveling, they love spending time with family and friends whenever possible.
